Don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion but probably is, but I really don’t like who was cast as Professor Soto and Jace in the After Movie. I don’t know what it is, I firstly get weird vibes from what I’ve seen from the actress (Meadow?) with just her presence or what she post on social media regarding the movie, I really don’t know what it is. Also the guy who was cast as Jace looks SO OLD!!!! I understand that Jace I think is possibly supposed to be maybe a couple if years older than the main group but when you see him, he reminds me of some guy who is in his 30s hanging with teens or people in young 20s and its a weird dynamic. Especially when you see him and Hardin/Hero together it looks like his uncle hanging out. Not sure whether the fact that they are also producing the movie in some capacity and they chose their roles but seriously they are the parts I’m not looking forward to. I think that the change as Tessa from Julia to Josephine was great because I though Julia kind of looked older than Hero and I couldn’t really envision her as blonde or imagine the chemistry. I think Hero is great, if he was a couple of years older or just looked older it would be even better. Other than that I think the casting was really great and they did well to adapt and bring in some diversity. But overall it’s going to be interesting and can’t wait to see Hessa on the big screen
